To celebrate the release of Tricks for Free, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book. Judging by the comments I’m seeing, some of you have had time, and I’d really, really rather book discussion (sometimes including spoilers) didn’t crop up on other posts.

(I will not reply to every comment; I call partial comment amnesty. But I may well join some of the discussion, or answer questions or whatnot.) I will be DELETING all comments containing spoilers which have been left on other posts. No one gets to spoil people here without a label.

You can also start a discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Hello, and welcome to the fourteenth of the Thirteen Days of Hogswatch, where we beat back the dark a little by spreading light around, mostly in the form of books I have decided to give away. All thirteen days will have their own prizes and their own rules (mostly similar, sometimes identical, never optional). Because I am a poor author, I cannot afford to pay international postage: if you are outside the United States, you must be able to pay postage if you win. (If you are inside the United States and wish to volunteer to pay postage for an international winner, please say so when you leave your own entry.)

I am absolutely delighted to be able to announce that DAW has acquired the sixth and seventh books in the InCryptid series. These volumes will be narrated by the youngest member of the current Price clan, Antimony Timpany Price, and will see publication in 2017 and 2018, respectively. (2015 is Pocket Apocalypse, narrated by Alex, and 2016 is Chaos Choreography, narrated by Verity.) These books are titled, drumroll please...

Again, it's going to be a little while before we get to Annie and her rampantly gleeful destruction of everything around her, but...the series will continue! Books six and seven!
