It's fifty days to the release of Symbiont, book two in the Parasitology trilogy. (Book three, Chimera, will follow in 2015.)

Parasite was my first hardcover, and my first non-Newsflesh work as Mira Grant. The reception it's received has been amazing, and I cannot wait for people to get their hands on the second book. Vixy says it's better than the first one. Trust Vixy. Fox girls never lie.

Fifty days. That isn't long at all.

It's long enough to be the world.

It's a huge amount of time when I've got a preorder burning a hole in my pocket. I've been trying to forget about it so that it's a lovely surprise when it suddenly arrives in the post, but it's not really working so far.

Amazon's US site doesn't currently have it for pre-order (the UK site does) because of things beyond anyone's control, alas, but Barnes & Noble (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/symbiont-mira-grant/1118862134?ean=9780316218993) does. You might also try calling Borderlands Books (http://www.borderlands-books.com/) in SF and asking whether they are taking pre-orders. Hachette's website (http://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/mira-grant/symbiont/9780316218993/) also has a bunch of links you may want to try.
