Seconded on thank you for including poly people, and I recognized some last names of some of the characters which was squee-making, and awesome novella! Plus, getting a sneak peek at Parasite now has me looking forward to that book even more!
As my housemate commented this morning, "You hate zombies, but you're cheerful about reading a new piece in Seanan's zombie universe. Weird."

Should I ever be magically transported into Newsfleshverse (oh god), I'm heading to Australia. Which I kind of want to do anyway except the price and long plane flight kind of make me want to hide under a bed in fear, so probably not.

One of the things I loved about Feed was the world-building and the idea of a well-thought out and cleverly considered society that had developed from our own under the stresses of zombies. It was beautiful to get to explore another alternate future that started from the same place and same impetuses, but ended up somewhere different.
