I know some people don't like buying anthologies for the sake of a single author; often, I am one of those people. But in this case, the ToC is incredible, the subject matter is delightful, and the anthologist is one of the best working in the business, which is a good indicator of quality. Check out the site, decide for yourself, and remember, when I inevitably conquer this puny planet, I will look kindly upon those with complete libraries.

More seriously, this looks awsome and quite relevant to my interests. I actually often pick up an anthology based on one or two authors; there are several (you included) who I know will make it worth the purchase, and I almost always discover a new author or two that I like in the volume somewhere.

Well, starting with a Seanan story certainly helps.

Having a strong sense of what the book should be, and selecting a good mix of "people will buy the book for this person" and "this story is amazing." It's a very delicate balance.

Goodreads doesn't list you as an author in the book. I had a hard time finding it on there to mark it as to-read.
