Too tired to brain. Have an open thread.
Mar. 9th, 2011 12:09 pmI cannot brain today. I have the tired, and the office cold has decided to hang out in my head, making me slow and lurgy and reluctant to commit to anything more strenuous than sitting around my bedroom, not putting on pants.
So here is a picture of Thomas cuddling with Amberlee the velociraptor, intended to signal that this post is an open thread. Tell me things! Any sort of things you want. Also, I am declaring amnesty from my normal "answer all comments" policy. So I may answer comments on this thread, and I may not. Either way, my psychotically cute kitten will be snuggling with a dinosaur, and that proves that life is AWESOME.
Enjoy!

Date: 2011-03-09 08:17 pm (UTC)I've started reading Late Eclipses, only my medication caused me to stop (when my eyes close I can't read, strange that).
I really recommend large doses of Vitamin C and Zinc, and Aspirin if you can take it. And sleep, and lots of liquids (er, those two may not be mutually compatible). And hugs...

Date: 2011-03-09 10:20 pm (UTC)Taking large amounts of zinc can actually lower your immune system so it's best to stick to the recommended dosages on the cold-eze. (Assuming you can stand them - to me it's like sucking on a Match-box car.)

So when does my hair go blonde and I gain the ability to sing?

Date: 2011-03-09 08:52 pm (UTC)Also got my copy of Wicked Girls in the mail from CD Baby. Love it, too. I have a question about the lyrics to the song Wicked Girls (for Seanan or any fan who knows the answer): how does Jane from Mary Poppins fit the theme? I read through summaries of all the Mary Poppins books but I couldn't figure it out. Someone educate me?

My boss doesn't like it when I sing along with You Get the Tickets.
She says it's "not appropriate".
