I always enjoy, and shift a little guiltily, when I read this "be a good fan" post... because I do move copies around on the bookstore shelves. I don't nudge my favorites into higher visibility, but my OCD impulses cannot handle seeing series books out of order: when I'm looking for the latest book, by any author, I put the others on the shelf in series order. I know clinically why I'm doing it, but I can't seem to resist.
