I've heard that too about Euro attitudes. It's enraging. Speaking as a person who was disabled at age 19, my only job lasted three months and ended in injury. I had heard good things about Disney parks for people with disabilities, so hearing this really shocked and appalled me.
I'm glad that you guys got the cards, but it sounds like even with them, they tried to make the process as difficult as possible, which is just so not cool. People with disabilities like amusement parks and rides, too! *grr*
