I was just thinking. Okay, the CEO of Super Patriots, Inc. just died. Well,t his was during an invoked hostile takeover, so that's to be expected. I'm gonna guess that the new CEO is to be part of the invading force - that it can't be someone who didn't show up to the takeover. Now, it might be so specific as to say it has to be whoever killed the former CEO, being Jolly Roger, but I doubt it.
So who will be CEO? Not Jolly Roger. He doesn't even vaguely want it. Not Jackie - legally, she's not a US citizen or even officially speaking human, which means she cannot be the CEO of a US corporation. Vel wants it even less than Jolly Roger, not to mention having a prior commitment to spend time with each of the seasons. That leaves David. This'll be "special".
