During the three days of Bay of Reckoning, seventeen games from the top 10 teams (out of 40 or 41, I think) in the West Region of the WFTDA. During the course of those seventeen games over the three days, I think, play was stopped only three times for injured skaters. (Two more took place on Sunday, Seanan.) That speaks to three things. First, the level of skill of these women. Second, how seriously we take safety. For every ref crew I've been on, safety is the first priority.
