It may be silly, but it's an unfortunate reality of publishing. Orbit owns the rights to world English distribution, but do not own the rights to distribution in Asia. If we were to sell those rights independent of an Asian publisher, we would never be able to sell the Asian print rights; those rights would be too devalued. So you can't buy those books because no one owns the right to sell them to you.
Foreign rights sales make up a huge percentage of an author's income, and is how we can afford to continue writing, since it's essentially a second or third advance on the same book. No publisher, ever, owns world electronic rights.
It seems odd that you can buy the Toby Daye books on your Kindle when there's no Asian publisher for those. I'll have to ask my agent what's up with that.
