Recently diagnosed with Chrohn's, here. It was amazing to me, once the Asocol actually started to work, how stark the difference was. No running to the bathroom every hour. No coming home from work and dropping on the couch because I was done with everything kthanxbye. No more phantom gut pains. No more blood outside of my body!
I'm not in remission yet, because if I don't take the meds for about two days, all of it comes back. But there is hope.

And thank you for your story. The longer I deal with this, the more I think that people need to know that there are a lot of invisible chronic sufferers out there, and that it *can* happen to anybody.
