doublechecked to ensure it wasn't just amazon.ca (who I order from normally) giving the september date so I wasn't misleading you - main big bookstore in Canada also listing September 1st.
(oh, and out of random curiousity I looked at amazon.co.uk & whsmith in the UK - they have it listed there Nov 5, 2009, in case that info is also of use to you.)
