1. Springkink is happening, so I shall have lots and lots of robot porn to read, not to mention a challenge to write a few pieces (I am most prolific when Springkink is happening).
It is one month to the end of the semester, and I'm not swamped with backlogged schoolwork, overwhelmed and panicking about failing.
I netted Georgia O'Keefe for my artist-homage project in ceramics class, and spent much of today shaping a lion's jawbone out of clay which I'm really happy with. Also, my tornado pot has made it to the to-be-fired shelf without one or more of its tornado spouts collapsing, and my professor has commented on my creativity for both projects.
Tornado season is coming, and soon there will be thunderstorms and Skywarn classes and me being out under downpours and churning clouds and charged air.
I have discovered where a couple piles of books are buried in my room, which means I have slightly more accessable reading material than I did yesterday.
I spent this past Friday at the Minneapolis Auto Show. I have seen, touched, sat in, and photographed the Gen-5 Camaro, and aside from wanting to beat their interior designers about the head and shoulders with a large three-days-dead trout, I am completely and utterly entranced. In addition, there were other lovely cars to enjoy. I have seen the Nissan GT-R. I am happy.
