1) The rights to the first two volumes are now locked up with ISFic Press.
2) My agent doesn't want me doing more than four books a year, because burn out is bad.
3) Right now, these are "fix up" novels: short stories chained together to book-length. Those do not sell well in the current market.
4) Especially when there's no origin story.
5) Traditional publishing requires a larger market than is necessarily present for these stories at this time. And...
6) No, I will not self-publish. I don't have time to do all the parts that aren't part of traditional publishing, like design, layout, marketing, and the additional complications on my taxes.
