I'm honestly a bit curious about his crew. I mean... were they normal people? Did he recruit them? Were they supers in their own right? Or... did they get to be supers on account of being in his crew? Like, he's the personification of a pirate, the person he has as first mate is the personification of the pirate first mate, etc.?
