That Princess wasn't born anatomically in line with her gender-identification. I shall now enjoy reading through and seeing if this is hinted at (the way Sparkle Bright's actual issues with Vel are hinted at and I went 'standard jealousy' and moved along--bravo on that by the way, my ability to predict plot twists is generally considered quite good) and I didn't notice. I like this detail a lot. I have a great deal of sympathy for such individuals. I don't feel strongly like a woman myself (whatever that's even supposed to mean--I've never known). I don't feel like I should be a boy instead and I'm happy enough being a girl, but I have an easy time believing that might be a difference of degrees. It's nice to see a great character whose character isn't all about having gender identity problems.

The indication of who the CEO might be, if true, doesn't surprise me overmuch--I figured it had to be Jolly Roger or Supermodel. Frankly, Supermodel made more sense--if Jolly Roger is the personification of the world's conception of "being a pirate" I don't think a devilish way that the Super Patriots have with the law would be in keeping with "living personification of being a pirate." While you could still blindside me and go IT WAS JOLLY ROGER ALL ALONG!!!!! I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I have a healthy respect for the good the law can do. I'd have to, or I couldn't sleep at night and I'd have never become a lawyer. But I have a healthy respect for the bad the law can justify, too. Again, I have to, in my line of work.
