If Sandy were aimed at same-sex marriage, why did it almost visibly avoid Massachusetts which has had marriage equality longer than any other US state and is one of the plaintiffs[1] in the set of anti-DOMA suits headed toward the Supreme Court? (Here in Cambridge where the first licenses were issued we had a small bit of damage and only some very minor power outages.)

Also, remember when Pat Robertson said that a hurricane was going to hit Orlando to punish Disney for "Gay Days", and it wound up landing in Virginia Beach and hitting him instead? You'd think he'd get the message....

[2] I had a "suspension of disbelief" failure moment while reading Feed when a case was called "Secor v. the State of Massachusetts" and not "Secor v. Commonwealth of Massachusetts", but since it was in dialogue it was obviously the character's mistake.
