It's cool, I neither read nor write fanfic. It's just not my thing. I also fail at writing short stories. I just remembered Misty Lackey's Leslac stories and my mind started wandering into an alternate universe where we learn where the stories we tell ourselves got mixed up in the first place.

And I'm some would argue that writing a follow-up novel to my great-grand uncle's stories is fanfic.
