according to my local bookstore, they don't get sales numbers from him in any way (he's tiny) and he can't see that it will "count" in any way other than when HE orders it from the publisher for me (essentially a preorder) so I am a bit confused. He agreed to run the sale (cash) tomorrow anyway, just in case.
